Some-days I wake up and I forget…
- my degree
- my letters
- my possessions
- and my problems
I tilt my head upright towards the sky, watching the cotton like clouds drift back and forth and then I remember whose I am . I call that hope, the silver lining in the sky that keeps us all from giving up. The idea of being able to dream of another chance at life,to hope, to have faith and to believe in something greater than yourself .
I believe hope is something born in all of us in order to survive . A deeper longing for a better tomorrow no matter the circumstance. We all go through many things in life that truly test the strength of our character. True hope is knowing that every cloud can possibly bring a garden of possibilities, you just have to see the silver lining. Our happiness all depends on how we view life. The most successful people in life are those who were able see the purpose in pain and overcome. Those who were able to turn every test into a testimony.
The happiest people are those who are able to dance in the gray and gain understanding from the unknown. To have hope is to let go of your fear of uncertainty. By looking for the silver lining in all of our clouds you are able to look at the brighter side of things and push past your negative thoughts. I use to allow life’s circumstances to get me down because I placed my hopes in man. Time after time people I learned that I can not place my happiness in the hands of others. So I began to look up to someone higher than myself. Something and someone that I can not physically touch yet I can spiritually feel.
Hope is an intangible feeling that helps humanity move along. A seemingly small emotion that has been able to move mountains. The magic that is able to help the blind see; a certain type of faith that cannot be reproduced. I was blind, Life helped me realize that I was one of those people who could not see.
My experiences in life have helped me allow myself to belief in a world of endless of possibilities. My new perspective on life had helped me appreciate my journey and gain a better understanding of my purpose on this world.
Ultimately, I have learned that …….
Life is a mere test of faith; A daily battle against all of your beliefs all standing on the foundation of your hope.
I find myself smiling and laughing more than I ever have ,because I finally understand the purpose of hope. I now know that it is the rain that helps flowers bloom. For to not have hope is to not be alive!

YYYEESSSS!! Soulmate but of course you know I have to remix it just a little lol I believe FAITH and HOPE can be used interchangeably or work as partners. I agree hope keeps life in forward movement, allows survival of a POSITIVE life…. THEE SILVER LINING. BUT I would have to say FAITH is the rain that waters the flowers of success from the silver lining. Faith is the emotion that turns hope into action…. A MIRACLE!! God supplies faith … Man supplies hope! Hope is the yearning and wanting of something positive to occur; where faith is the undeniable confidence that something positive WILL come about no matter the circumstance. Hope can be swayed faith is unwavering. Putting hope in man isn’t as dangerous as putting faith in man because hope isn’t concrete and neither is man. Faith is a foundational emotion that can move mountains with just a mustard seed size …. Place something that Powerful in something as weak as man and you’ll fail EVERYTIME. You put faith in GOD so if you put it in “man” you’re not putting it in his flesh but his spirit. I HOPE humanity changes for the better, but I have FAITH that my God will save the world!!
You expressed it aptly, “hope … helps humanity move along”. I think that each new day of life on this planet is another opportunity with which we have been blessed (collectively and individually) to be the best versions of ourselves…another reason to hope.
You are such a refreshing soul. Never loose you.
