Atlanta Greek Picnic 2015 was so much fun. So many people came from all over just to fellowship . People came from every region of America:
- California
- Oklahoma
- Chicago
- Kentucky
- Illinois
- Missouri
- Michigan
& of course the Maryland Greeks were in the house, I had the pleasure of seeing so many people I knew from back home.
The level of fellowship overall was surreal. Everyone just kicked it with each other and enjoyed random ‘punch outs’ . People sat and talked others hopped and strolled while others drank their secret signature drinks. My chapter made a nice batch of Poison Ivy. I especially enjoyed a batch of ‘oil‘ from the Maryland Bruhz, if I do say so myself . LOL
Everyone seemed so excited to mingle with new people or to link up with fellow Greeks they had met on social media. Some people suffered from extreme incidents of ‘Catfishing‘:
Catfish v.
A catfish is someone who pretends to be someone they’re not using Facebook or other social media to create false identities, particularly to pursue deceptive online romances.
Now before I begin this conversations , I think we should go over some quick facts about the Divine 9.
For those who don’t know
The Divine 9 is …
The nine historically Black Greek letter organizations (BGLOs) that make up the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Collectively, these organizations are referred to as “The Divine Nine.” Each of these fraternities and sororities rich history – ties to one or more of these organizations they may be found in many college-educated Black families in the United States.
